Fashion and Death, who speaks with perfect diction and the ominous voiceovers of '40s cinema, the seller and the passing of almanacs, the Farfarello devil: the players bring into the field a primordial cruelty, like nature that the author intended.

An actor and a musician find alone without the rest of the company, and ask children to imagine their daring actions and thousands of fantasy characters, using their unlimited ability to invent from scratch, to create a world that child create in the imagination. Here's a sock of wool that turned into a snake, a coconut in a horse or a trumpet in a sword. All accompanied by the curious musical instruments played live, fortunately! in the case of the musician.

Calanchi is one of the most important event organized by the association. In 2003 we depart with a brave and ambitious project to organize an International Theatre Festival in San Marino, making force on our energies and exploiting the best of the local potentialities. Our aim is to give visibility to companies that operate on the borders of the great theatrical circuits, with great passion and professionalism, also to create a net of collaborations that are useful to whom participates to the Festival exchanging informations and competences. It’s also important for us to introduce to the San Marino public a different theatrical showcase from the home proposals or proposals from the principal theaters of the district. Our experiment works, because we succeeded in proposing quality shows strongly diversified, alternating performances of experimental to comic theater, dance to political theater, prose to funny children shows. The answer of the public is positive, and inspired by the jewels that every year give a new flavour to our Festival.
We have hosted artists from San Marino, Italy, Croatia, Chile, Brazil, Greece, Serbia, Poland, France.
